iScream!
I designed promotional materials that successfully drove new customers to iScream!, a local ice cream shop celebrated for its handcrafted, organic flavors. Each poster showcased an individual menu item, utilizing carefully selected colors to enhance its appetizing appeal. The accompanying stickers employed a minimalistic design to underscore the brand's commitment to simplistic, natural ingredients. Additionally, flyers featured a comprehensive overview of all menu items, designed to increase awareness of the store's full offerings. These materials significantly expanded iScream!'s beloved fanbase.
What I Learned: This project marked my first experience creating promotional materials for an actual business. Effective communication with the business owner was essential for project success. I initiated the process with a detailed goal-setting meeting and maintained continuous contact to ensure alignment throughout. The owner's excellent feedback was instrumental, allowing me to accurately express her vision and ideas to her target audience. Ultimately, this experience highlighted how teamwork and consistent communication are vital for improving my effectiveness as a designer.
With More Time and Resources: I would love to design branded packaging for iScream! I think the shop could really benefit from neighbors seeing the logo around town on cake boxes and take-out bags.
